Inside the FOMC

The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) is the Federal Reserve’s chief body for monetary policy focused on meeting the Fed’s two main goals: maximum employment and stable prices. In this webinar for high school teachers, St. Louis Fed Economic Education specialists will explain who participates on the FOMC and how decisions influence the cost and availability of credit, as well as the overall economy.

The webinar is free, and participants will receive one hour of professional development credit.
